We spent a warm summer evening with warm friends and a song on our lips.
We heard soloists, a choir, and sang together. Even the children contributed – they sang a song about Joseph, who exemplified God’s faithfulness.
All the songs have deep content and are a great edification and help for our daily life. Many times the songs were written by the authors at a very young age and are the fruit of their life with God often in difficult experiences.
Peter Pilch read Jesus’ words from Mat 10:38-39: “And whoever does not take up his cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.” And what do I choose?
