Finally the long-awaited day has arrived, especially for the youngest. On Sunday, December 18, we all met to celebrate Christmas together and feel the atmosphere of the approaching Christmas.
At first, we could recall the history of Christmas by watching the shadow theater. Later we heard about how good we have it, thanks to the fact that Jesus came to earth and now we can learn from him and always choose what is good.
Another highlight of the program was the transition to the youth of 5 precious people: Julia Nowak, Aleksandra Szalbot, Lena Czyż, Dawid Nowak and Kamil Podzhorski, and immediately afterwards we could see all the children on stage singing a song about Christmas for us.
Later in the program we heard many Christmas carols and rhymes performed by the children. We also saw what the elves do and were able to get to know them better. The elves reminded us that it’s not worth envying others, such as a better gift, because in this way we lose the joy ourselves.
At the end, the elves distributed gifts to all the children. Later we continued the fellowship over hot cocoa and fragrant gingerbread cookies.
We sincerely thank everyone for this beautiful celebration, and we are already looking forward to the next Christmas!
