On Saturday, 18.03.2023 we had a special event for children at the church, Bible Kids Explorers.
Once again, we traveled back in time with Jack and Gina, this time to the time in which David lived. We learned the story of Saul and David. We learned how important it is to keep your heart pure.
Our meeting consisted of two parts. In the first, we met two people, one of whom kept his heart pure, the other did not.
After having lunch together, it was time for some games. The competition with glow sticks provided the children with a lot of fun and fierce competition. Everyone could try to defeat Goliath by aiming at him with a slingshot.
In the second part we found out who became the new king of Israel, anointed by Samuel.
Both parts had different tasks that we had to complete to unlock the next parts of the stories.
At the end, the children received new cards for their boxes with precious Bible verses.
