At the Sunday service on the 6th of February 2022, Brother Witek Czyż cited the example of Moses, who did not see himself as the leader of the people of Israel. Yet, when God called him, he obeyed. It is the same with us. I may be the only one who can help my brother or sister, and then I cannot suggest to God to send someone else. We are exhorted to use our gifts of grace to serve our brothers and sisters in the church, not to consider ourselves better than others. Here a negative example is Absalom, who tried to take the place of his father David.
The theme of Moses’ humility and obedience, and Absalom’s pride and haughtiness, were prevalent in many of the testimonies of the brothers and sisters.
